MEMBER SERVICES OFFICER - DEMOCRATIC SERVICES
LOCATION: Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Garstang Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 3LH
SALARY: Grade 6 SCP 18-25 £24,982 – £29,577
HOURS: 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexi-time Working arrangements
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service is looking to recruit a full-time Member Services officer to join a small democratic services team providing support to Combined Fire Authority members, senior fire officers, colleagues and members of the public.
Your main duties will include administering and clerking various committees and working groups. Meetings are being held virtually via Microsoft Teams during the coronavirus pandemic and the role includes facilitating virtual meeting participation and live streaming. You will be required to prepare formal and informal reports, leading on specific projects are also part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience of providing secretarial or administrative support and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality. You will also have an excellent standard of written English, be able to write clear and accurate minutes and be able to provide advice to members and staff.
You will have excellent ICT skills, be highly organised, flexible and able to meet deadlines.
