LOCATION: Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Garstang Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 3LH
SALARY: Grade 7 SCP 26 - 30 £30,451 - £33,782 (plus £4k market supplement when fully trained/competent) 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS: 36.25 hours per week, a flexitime scheme is in operation

The Service is looking to recruit an experienced .NET developer to work on a range of existing and new applications built to help us support our community and make Lancashire safer.
In terms of technology you’ll have experience of working with C# and ASP.NET Core. You’ll also have a great understanding of web-based applications and how they are hung together. A proven knowledge of databases and related RDBMS disciplines such as SQL Server would be highly desirable as would knowledge of Agile development principles, SCM and DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Any Azure knowledge, or experience with Xamarin and / or Blazor would be highly beneficial.
You will be working as part of a small but friendly and supportive team. The post offers exposure to the latest technologies and frameworks and you will have the ability to shape our roadmap moving forward. You will be rewarded with a varied blend of responsibilities across the whole software development life cycle as well as opportunities for professional personal development.
