This is an exciting time for a document or records management specialist or archivist to join our team and make their mark on the future of the Service’s information management.
You will be a graduate, have knowledge of and experience in document and records management and be able to work independently and also as part of a team. Working with IT to design and implement our emergent SharePoint document management system, you will carry out information audits using software tools and traditional methods and specify new document storage structures including associated taxonomy / thesaurus. You will also lead on migrating electronic records into the corporate SharePoint solution using specialist software.
You will update and create information-related policies and procedures and work closely with the information governance team to ensure GDPR compliance throughout the Service. Whilst promoting best practice in record keeping standards across the Service through specialist professional advice, you will also be delivering knowledge and support on the creation, maintenance and disposition of records.
The closing date is 12 noon, 27 February 2019
Interviews to be held on 14 March 2019
